I think everyone should study Kimberlé Crenshaw's concept of intersectionality. This framework has allowed me to see the complexities of social issues around me and find a deeper analysis of myself. Especially now, my age and gender are the most significant components of my identity. It's my last year as a teenager, and I would be lying if I said this didn't bother me. There's so much that comes with being a woman in your 20s. I find myself trying to keep my teenage girl identity for as long as possible.
